Bridging Education Gap Africa (BE-GA); A not for profit organization on a mission to bridge the education gap for vulnerable students across underserved communities through provision and distribution of school supplies to a student in need and classroom supplies to teachers in other to create access to quality education.
BE-GA announced today the
official launch of an automated application system that will allow schools in
underserved communities to automatically apply for learning supplies in a
backpack for their student in need and classroom supplies for their teachers. BE-GA
is ready to set up resource centers that will provide educators at eligible
schools with critical supplies, at Zero cost to them, to empower
teaching and educational success.
Introducing tech into BE-GA’s
solution gives a seamless operation process and allow BE-GA to reach more
schools, vulnerable students, generate real time data and be transparent with our
work. With this solution schools can register on the platform as a beneficiary
to access continuous support that will help them deliver quality education.
‘We are very passionate
about making great impact in the education sector and we are fully committed to
the cause. We are open to collaboration to ensure we eradicate and
bridge the education gap for vulnerable students and that way we will not only
be reducing the dropout rate but also be empowering the future leaders of our
nation’ said Jennifer Jonathan, Founder of Bridging Education Gap Africa.
Jennifer Continued, ‘This
year 2023 marks the great beginning in our journey to bridge the education gap
and our resource centers will serve as free school supply store, where all
donated items will be collated and a space where donors and partners can come
together to collectively build a backpack for a student in need or box supplies
for a teacher.
